Chesapeake Conference pastors and lay evangelists continue to hold meetings in Bulgaria through this weekend as part of the Seventh-day Adventist world church's Total Member Involvement initiative. Eric Flickinger, associate speaker for It is Written, hosts an evangelism field school each morning to provide training to the team. Evenings are spent preaching in 11 area churches.

Sixty-one baptisms took place on Sabbath, September 21, reports Rick Remmers, Chesapeake Conference president. He says that local church members and pastors have been preparing the candidates for baptism for the past few months. More than 500 meeting attendees have shown interest in meeting with local church leaders for prayer and Bible study.
