Samantha Young serves as Assistant to the President for Communication and Women’s Ministries Director. She coordinates corporate communication for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Chesapeake Conference territory. Samantha believes women bring important gifts to ministry and that God is ready to use us if we will let Him.

Her experience includes serving as Communication Director for a continuing care retirement community, working in the area of education as a Classroom Teacher and as Columbia Union Conference Certification Registrar, coordinating mission trips and summer camp staffing for Chesapeake’s Youth Ministries Department, and coordinating events at Mount Aetna Camp and Retreat Center.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Columbia Union College. Samantha and her husband, Bill, have two teenage sons and are active members of the Spencerville Adventist Church in Silver Spring, Maryland.
