The Community Services Department (ACS) gives support and encouragement to churches with community service centers.  ACS and the Disaster Response Department, directed by Kitty Juneau, work hand in hand with dedicated men and women in doing disaster preparedness outreach, which is so necessary in stressful times.

Once a year a conference-wide summit meeting is held.  During this meeting representatives of Chesapeake churches share ideas, experiences, encourage one another, and receive instruction on "How To" update, organize, and carry out the Lord's commission to take care of His sheep -- the needy in our communities.
