Barbara-Lee has lived in the Chesapeake territory most of her life.  She attended Greater Baltimore Academy, Shenandoah Valley Academy, and Columbia Union College, graduating with an AA in Secretarial Science. 

After working for the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland for almost nine years, she came to Chesapeake Conference in 1974.  Barb has worked in many of the departments and is now Executive Assistant to the Conference Executive Secretary, Ministerial Director, Communication Director, and is also the Conference Membership Clerk.

Having lived in the area most of her life, she has family here as well as a sister and brother-in-law in North Carolina.  Barb enjoys spending time with her family and does quite a bit of traveling visiting family and friends all over the East Coast and some in the Southwest.

Barb attends Reisterstown Seventh-day Adventist Church.  Her favorite pastimes are reading, doing all kinds of needle work, playing piano/organ, and traveling.
